Meet Kabíyèsí Dr. Oba Ifágbèmí

His Royal Majesty, Kabíyèsí Dr. Oba Ifágbèmí Fáṣèyẹ Babátúndé is a traditionally enstooled monarch, Agbà Awo (Elder Babaláwo), author, professor, and spiritual advisor whose work bridges traditional Ifá wisdom with the realities of modern life.

With decades of study, initiation, and more than thirty journeys throughout West Africa, his path has been shaped through direct engagement within the Ifá and Òrìṣà traditions. His work is grounded not only in academic study, but also in lived experience, lineage, ritual practice, and continued service to individuals, families, and communities around the world.

Dr. Oba Ifágbèmí holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theology with a concentration in Traditional African Religions and has served in academic leadership roles while continuing his work as a teacher, author, and practitioner. He is the author of Practical Foundations of Ifá and numerous teachings dedicated to preserving authentic tradition while making its wisdom accessible and relevant to contemporary life.

Through consultations, divination, spiritual guidance, ceremonies, and educational work, he assists individuals in gaining clarity regarding relationships, family concerns, life transitions, spiritual development, career decisions, and personal destiny.

His approach is direct, compassionate, and rooted in the understanding that every person carries a unique destiny that can be better understood through alignment with Orí, ancestral wisdom, and the teachings of Ifá.
