Miami is one of the great spiritual crossroads of the Americas. Lucumí and Santería have deep roots in its Cuban community; Haitian Vodou thrives alongside; botanicas serve neighborhoods from Little Havana to Little Haiti. In a city with so many doors, many seekers look specifically for Ifá — the Yoruba divination tradition itself, practiced by an initiated Babaláwo.
Dr. Oba Ifágbèmì offers private Ifá consultation to seekers in Miami by phone or video. With 25+ years of Ifá practice, he is the Oludasile (founder) of Ilé Àálá Temple in West Palm Beach, Florida, and conducts consultations for clients across South Florida and around the world.
Every tradition has its own language and its own depth. What Ifá offers is Dàfá (traditional Ifá divination): the casting of Ifá to reveal the Odù — the sacred sign governing your question — followed by interpretation in plain, practical language. It is a structured consultation, not a hurried exchange: there is time for your situation, your questions, and the guidance the Odù carries.
What happens during the consultation
You bring your situation — a relationship at a crossroads, a career decision, a repeating pattern you cannot name, a spiritual question that will not wait. Dr. Oba performs Dàfá, interprets the Odù with you, and discusses what Ifá counsels: timing, obstacles, openings, and any prescribed ẹbọ. The discussion of remedies belongs to the consultation; performing them is always separate and always your decision.
