OSE OGUN REMEMBERING THE PATH BETWEEN HEAVEN AND EARTH

Ogun shrine in Oyo with iron staff and ritual elements representing strength, discipline, and the path between heaven and earth in Yoruba tradition.

You do not “learn” Ifá.

You remember it.

There was once a clearer connection between Heaven (Òrun) and Earth (Ayé).

Our ancestors preserved this truth in simple language:

“Heaven is home. Earth is the marketplace.”

This was never metaphor alone.

It was instruction.

The pathway was never lost. Only forgotten.

So the work of Ifá is not to learn something new.

It is to remember what has always been known.

That memory is held within the Ori.

But remembrance requires:

humility

self-awareness

discipline

alignment

Ifá teaches:

“We do not claim to know everything.

It is our own perception that deceives us.

Ifá calls for humility and inner awareness.”

When one humbles themselves,

aligns correctly,

and does the work—

clarity returns.

Not as something given,

but as something remembered.

This is the work of Ose Ogun:

to cut through illusion,

to restore clarity,

to reopen the pathway

between Heaven and Earth—

not externally,

but within.
